Judaism U is an ongoing and rotating series of sessions held every Sunday that Religious School is in session. Series for the year 5768 (2007-08):

Introduction to Judaism (S-1)
This 12 - week course is intended for anyone seeking a basic understanding of Judaism: its beliefs, customs and history. This class is open to Jews and non-Jews, and is particularly suited for those considering conversion to Judaism.

$100 for members (couples can join at the single price)
$150 for non-members.

Jewish History through Jewish Novels (T-1) - Sponsored by the Sisterhood
Once a month we will meet to discuss a Jewish historical novel, the historical context for the story, what the authors got right, what they got wrong.
Books we will read this year will be:
- The Antagonists (Jews and Rome) Oct. 11
- Rashi’s Daughters (Medieval France) Nov. 15
- The Last Kabbalist of Lisbon (The Expulsion from Spain) Dec. 13
- The Witch of Cologne (Jews at the Dawn of the Enlightenment) Jan. 13
- A Conspiracy of Paper (Jews in Enlightenment England) Feb. 7
- For the Sake of Heaven (Eastern Europe in the Napoleonic Wars) March

Come experience both and make Shabbat truly sacred! The informal worship and the Torah study that follows (From the weekly portion) opens to you the greatest treasure of Judaism - Shabbat.
