NoTTY (North Texas Temple Youth)
Welcome Teens!
Welcome to NoTTY (North Texas Temple Youth, that is!).
We are young Jews, ages 14-18, who are actively working
to make our lives, communities, and the larger world, a
better place. We are also about having serious fun! We
have the courage to be ourselves, and the commitment to
stay connected to others who share that same courage. In
short, we are proud to be Jews.
NoTTY is vibrant and alive. NoTTY teens participate in
social, leadership, adventure, social action, and informal
educational programs. NoTTY provides a unique opportunity
for teens to gather in a safe, fun, and inclusive environment.
Innovative programming inspires them to stay involved with
Jewish life.
What are the activities like?
Y Rock Climbing
Y City-wide overnight lock-ins

Y “Camp style” Shabbat services
Y Social action projects
Y Ski trips
Y Regional conclaves and kallot
Who directs the program?
Our NoTTY advisor, Aimee Wortendyke, is spirited, creative,
and dedicated to the unique needs of teens. She believes
that one of the most important ingredients for keeping
young people actively involved in a Jewish community is
to give them a positive experience with their Jewish peers.
A public school teacher, Aimee also teaches Hebrew and
Judaica in the CKA Religious School.
