Our Mission
The goal of the Congregation Kol Ami Religious School
is to instill in our children pride in being Jewish,
a strong sense of heritage and history, a keen awareness
of the values by which we live, and the tools to practice
their religion and culture in a contemporary society.
In our Religious School we currently have over 100 children
enrolled. The students are trained through the Kol
Ami teaching staff that includes a faculty of 15 teachers.
A registration form is available through the congregation
office. The two components are Judaica and Hebrew.
School accepts registration for children from 4 yrs
of age
(for the
Pre-Kindergarten class) through 10th grade (for the Confirmation
class).
Judaica classes for grades Pre-Kindergarten
through 8th Grade are scheduled on Sundays, and are
offered in 2 sessions from 8:30 am until 1:15 pm.
The Hebrew
program begins formally in 3rd grade, and classes
for 3rd grade through 7th grade are scheduled
on Wednesdays from 5:30 pm until 7 pm.
B'nai Mitzvah
preparation is offered to students in 6th grade
with adequate or better Hebrew skills.
Confirmation class for 10th graders is currently held on the first
and third Thursday from 6 pm until 7:30
pm; dinner is included.
Continuing education for
post-Confirmation students and adults is offered
on a variety of topics in our
Adult Education program.
